In January 2021, leading multinational avocado specialist Westfalia Fruit acquired a majority stake in Hausladen Fruchthandels GmbH, a major family-owned fruit industry headquartered in Munich, Germany. The integration process has been fully completed since November 2021 and with the change of name to Westfalia Fruit GmbH, the company is now an integral part of the Westfalia Fruit Group.
